Stick with it, I guess I was one of the lucky ones I never have had a problem although I'v only been shaving for a month or two. I bleed almost every shave but thats from >.< bumps when the razor goes over, how do I know its not from me nicking, its in the same place every shave. I'v had irritation once on my neck and it sucked, I was too rough and the next shave hurt like a cracker on there but other than that a few nicks here and there and my rutine blood spot and thats it.

I am fairly new; just a few months into it. I use the straight about 3 to 4x's a week and I still need the "other" (shame on me) razor for days when I am late to need to fix a spot. I have a very heavy beard and I think it has actually gotten heaver with the use of a straight. I rarely cut myself either, but, some days shaves are better than others. I had a good shave today, but, not as good as two days ago. Same razor, same prep. I still get really good shaves if I can skip a day in between. But, with work, that is rarely possible. My worst area is just south of the jawline; but, I am working on it. Oh, here is a good tip....don't let your wife near you when shaving, mine almost did me in on wednesday. I was starting my second pass with ATG starting at the bottom of the neck, and just as I was getting started she opened a cabinet door and bumped it into my elbow. I nearly laid myself open. Close call, Carlo
