I have thought about shaving mine, but alas that's a lot of work. OOPS there is that four letter word again.
Actually I keep mine really short. Did that when I drove truck so I didn't have toworry about combing.

I have my hair weekly , Im by no means losing it . Before I started shaving it it was down to my waist ( and I mean really down to my waist ) - I just thought 'time for a little change after 17-18yrs of growing it ' during the holidays I shave it as smooths as kojak's -- this is how I manged to find straightrazor place - I thought using an open razor would be much better . I'm a long way from attempting this feat tho , im only a newbie using an open on my face , given time I will eventually give the head a careful try .

It's not as hard as you might think. Shaving the back is the hardest part, but that comes with practice just like shaving your face.
