Thanked: 735Wait a week
Been busy moving this past week, and as such, didn't have a shave in that time either.
Until today.
And it was glorious!

I'm in the same boat as you, and my delay is also because I'm maving, except I've not had my shave yet. I'm really looking forward to it; the firsh shave after a long wait is always amazing.

Wait a Week
Gentlemen,
I fully understand your sentiment. I was in Minnesota visiting my daughter over the New Year Holiday and chose not to shave for four days. My daughter kept us running around to the point of exhaustion. Might as well, too, because the temperature was 20 below zero.
With that little beard I looked like a Corsican assassin.
That first shave at home came with Mama Bear unscented and the Thiers-Issard Spartacus "Dos Festonne."
I thought I was knocking on heaven's door.
Regards,
Obie

Thanked: 20been there! My fiance and I helped out on a Habitat build for a week, and since we were "chaperoning" the younger kids we didn't get much alone time, so since she demands the shaving (although I enjoy it) I didn't shave, then we went on vacation for another 10 days. so nice to just take it off without hassle. took me four days, a little patch at a time so that I could savour the feeling!

Thanked: 190Shaving 4+ days growth is my favorite! The skin feels so much smoother after that type of shave.

It is such bliss! I am a morning shaver, but I relish my slow, relaxed Sunday night shaves when I havent' shaved since Firday morning. I am dissapointed when an event forces me to shave in the weekend, and I knowI won't get a luxurious SUnday night shave with that extra growth. Now, that's not a week, jsut two and a half days most weeks, but the rare occurences where I get to go longer (went Thursday morning to Monday morning recently) is just great. I don't think I've gone a week without shaving in the past 15 years! Maybe 4-5 days TOPS on a vacation. After that I start getting comments.
