Thread: There should be SRP shaving schools across the country

In strip malls everywhere, like those Arthur Murray Dance schools. I'd go.

I agree... for many people getting started and learning the right technique is very hard and 'learning' from youtube is great but it cant see what youre doing wrong...

If some 'advanced' members were to create some sort of shaving clinic for the region and had a class fee Im sure there would be a lot of interest especially from the people just beginning to learn...

Hehe, good idea! But most malls have rules, so you'd be better NOT having it in a mall

These places exist! They're called local meet-ups, and I don't think they would charge to give you some pointers

Really though, it's a good idea. I hope to get to one of the get togethers eventually just to meet the guys and gals. It'll happen one day I'm sure

Search for people in your area and start sending PM's. The large majority would be more than willing to meet up with you and share knowledge. I encourage ever veteran straight shaver to open their doors and help us new people out. I met up with a member in my area and it has been a great help. When I feel confident and well-experienced, if I can return the favor and help a newcomer I will.

i think this is a great idea check the member map and see who is closet to you and send them a pm. i live in longiville la. and would be glad to help out .

I live in Yonkers just out in Westchester so all the NYC folks. Its nice that people are willing to help and I will certainly help in any way I can. The SRP store woudl be a great idea though.
