    Default sideburn issues.

hey all, im finding im having alot of trouble setting the length of my sideburns, the light in my bathroom gives the appearence that they are even then in regular daylight they are not (ive tried brighter lights), my face is not at all symmetrical as ive done combat sports for most of my life. any advice would be great as im going to clean shave this week or possibly next as i will be getting a new straight and i want to break it in with a full shave. thanks

i would suggest figuring the length you would like them and make note of a landmark on each side to go off of. The bottom of the earlobe, bottom of the opening or freckle.
i have similar problem and I use points on my ear to gauge even.

What i'll do is to get one the length I want and then put my fingers to the bottom of my sideburns so that its even in the mirror when looking head on, then I trim the other side to match

I try to get them as best as I can during the shave, and I'll go back during the touch ups to make sure they're right. Using a landmark is a good idea, but an interesting fact about people: No one's ears are lined up perfectly. No one will notice a mm difference but you, so don't worry so much.
