Default Str8 razor shaver But Rolls ain't bad

I've been a str8 shaver for several years. I just picked up a Rolls Razor on Ebay and with a little clean up and strop dressing I was able to hone and strop the blade to a shaving edge with little effort. I used it twice over the weekend and got pretty good shaves with it. I may turn to it as a good travel option. The Rolls is a pretty ingenious razor with a strop and hone in one package. I won't be giving up my str8s, but it is an interesting piece of hardware nonetheless.

Anyone else have experience with a Rolls?

I have several of them and agree they are ingenious devices
I have never wet the hone side and tried them out. I can not guess what the hone grit would be estimated as.?? I have an original package, a little bakelite case of blades in case I fail miserably.
I look forward to properly treating the strop side and the hones to see just what I can get out of them.

Someone once posted that they used Charnley Forest hones for a time.

Which would make them pretty damned good, I hear...
