    Lightbulb Face Massage

I just finished shaving - I prefer shaving in the evenings, putting on something slow to listen to (lately it's been the blues) and taking my time. While I was shaving I had a thought as to why such an act is so pleasurable. Perhaps, and I think this is difficult to deny, the pressure of the edge of a blade going round our face is the equivalent to some sort of face massage, hitting pressure points along the way. I definitely feel in a relaxed and different state of mind and I think there may be something more than simply concentrating the mind. What dya think? Anybody have similar thoughts?

Makes sense to me. If you are using a hot towel as part of the pre-shave prep, that helps as well.

I would like to shave in the morning to put on my best face for each day.. But it's just so much better to do it at night.

You can take as much time as you want, and it's just so therapeutic. Where shaving in the morning makes you feel better for the coming day, shaving at night puts a happy ending to a bad day, or a wonderful conclusion to a good day... And the time is a plus.

I need to find a cheap DE for the days where I need a fast morning shave....

I get up early, work out, shower and shave. As long as there is no rush, it is always a great and relaxing event. I love to get the BBS shave going early in the day so I can parade around with the best shave in the corporate world.

At night is when I like to sharpen up the razors and plan which one I will use in the morning.

    Everyone has their comfort zone.
