Sounds like it could be good therapy considering her present condition, good work, no nicks, cuts or scrapes. Sounds like its going to be a lot of mutual fun.......at least until the debates about prep, soap, razors and etc. arise!

ATG
In some spots I went ATG (in particular below her knee) this is where her thickest hair grows (though it is not all that thick as it is).

Thanked: 1936I got to shave "a" leg the other day & we both enjoyed the experience. I put it to her this way: Let me shave one leg and you the other to see which one gets closest and lasts longest. My plan was to make two passes, but only made one ATG and got my call to work. My one pass lasted better and was closer than her two pass M3. I've got her curiosity up....

She uses an M3? Smart lady.
You know, for all the issues that you guys have with your razors, lady's razors, believe it or not, are even worse.
A lot worse.
When I have been in such a situation to do so, I have *cough* borrowed a Mach3 or similar contraption because it's that little bit less crappy than my Venus.
The only reason I didn't get a Mach3 myself is because by the time I realized they were better, I already had a Venus and I didn't want to blow the money.
I think once I got my angle right, I definitely get a closer shave with a straight. But as I'm still learning the angles, it's funny how in some parts the hair shows up quicker than others, indicating where I need to work on my technique, he he.
fletcher - Glad she liked the shave! Good work, sir!

Thanked: 1936One thing you need to keep in mind is that hair grows at different rates, it may not be your form. BTW, I bought her a M3 brush & razor set for her birthday. She's totally hooked on the shaving soap & can't stand the canned stuff now. She swears she is getting closer shaves & her legs are more hydrated. I don't ever think I'll get her to totally convert, but that's ok.
