No love for the Belgians Zib? :P
I had a three line swaty and didn't care for it too much.
It sharpens the blade, but I just felt like the edge wasn't very smooth.
I have a kosher combo belgian that I use for most of my honing. I also have one of Ray's Balsa Cr0 paddle that I'm still experiencing it. I think my dovo SS likes the cr0 better than it likes the edge off the coticule.

+1. I am currently experimenting with a pasted hardwood "strop." The theory is that it will not convex the edge, since the surface is non-compliant. Results so far are encouraging but it's too soon to draw definite conclusions.
