    Default I have arrived!!!!

hey folks! Long time no see!

Sorry I haven't been posting. I've actually been busy with conventions, trying to drum up business etc.

I just stopped home long enough to sharpen a couple razors and get ready for the next one.

Guess what? I've finally arrived! Yes! *struts*.

Ok, Ok! enough suspense I guess. What have I arrived at you ask? Simple. I sharpened a razor sharp enough that it shaved with virtually zero pull. sliced off those bastage hairs like a hot knife through warm butter! I went against the grain on the 2nd pass and it was Beautiful! Stubble free and NO ingrowns the next day!!!!This is the same razor I've failed at sharpening over 15 times before!

I got so excited that I went through 4 other razors. Since I didn't have enough facial growth after the first shave I shaved my legs and arms for testers. Other than looking like an extremely out of shape body builder (or drag queen I guess, take yer pick! ), EVERY single razor shaved A1!!!!. now I have 5 more razors to take along with me on the road. Suuweeet!

Thanks so much, Lynn, for showing me how to sharpen. After much errors and some time away from the stone it finally paid off!

    Red face

The leg shaving part almost cracked me up, I even had a giggle out loud!

You just can't post things like that while I'm at WORK! ....or at least warn me when you do.

    Thumbs up Attaboy!

Perseverence, eh? Try enough things and you just might learn what makes it tick. I almost got licked by a "trick" razor Ed (the forestryprof) sent to me, but I've got some surprises for him.

    X-man,
You made my morning! I'm glad to know it wasn't just me that was stumped by that razor. I hope you'll let me in on the secret of getting that thing shaving keen.
