    I'm having trouble picturing how this is done. Does anyone have a link to some photos of videos of this technique?

    Gentlemen:

    Jockeys has an excellent example of performing the Coups de Maitre stroke in his video at Straight Razor Place. Videos by jockeys.

    I believe that "coup de maitre" translated is the "blow to the head." I suppose if it were the "blow to the nose" one might think shaving with Kleenex were possible.
