Thread: Shave III video

I took the time the other day to download (quite long) the Shave III video on in the links page ... here

Wow! that guy takes some crazy swipes at his chops with his razor! Like one big stroke from cheek to neck . . . is that normal? Most of the examples of shaving I have seen involve a series of short strokes and the face being shaved in smaller sections. I guess whatever you are comfortable with is best though.

That is not my typical shave, and I think anybody's... Either Brian is having very light beard, or he shaves with light (starwars) razor...

I don't know who that guy is that created those videos but they are fantastic. There are quite a few of them and my only gripe is the fact that he doesn't talk (might be German although the titles are in English). An explanation of what he's doing would be great, especially with the honing and stropping. The advice from this forum is invaluable but to actually see it makes a hugh difference, like Lynn's shaving video.

That guys Brian Donofrio. He's a member here. I think his handle is BrianDonofrio. Maybe he'll tell you about the finger thing sometime. You wont belive it till you see the pics.

The hanging hair test finger thing? Yeesh! I saw something about that, unless it was someone else.

But yes, quite a good collection of videos, I still haven't seen them all but pretty cool.
