I remember reading a similar thread on a wood working forum, however several of those replies involved figures/hands, rotating blades and a trip to the ER.

Again living in the moment is a must whether you be shaving or operating a planing machine.

I sometimes catch myself with a spike point, usually on my ear lobe. Its one of those things that happens so quickly as well... Stop paying attention for a minute and thats it; Claret everywhere.
