Thread: Best shave ever

I have been shaving with a straight for about 7 months now, and for the first time since I started shaving my father and I shaved together.
He still uses a fusion but I have now got him using pre-shave oil, real shaving cream, brush, and aftershave balm.

Such a great moment I had to share.

It's always a good thing when a son can serve as a role model for his father. Eventually, you will set him on the right path!

I think I might have my dad there eventually, he's looked at razors out of curiosity a couple times since I got into it, done a little research and asked me a few questions. I don't know if he'll switch to straights or not, but I might get him to stop using gillette canned junk.

Congrats on getting your father to join you. I have tried to convince mine, but he is firmly stuck with his electric. I will have to excuse him though as he made a nice shave stand for my brushes and razors!
