Default Best Straight Shave in Los Angeles?

I'm looking to take someone for their first straight shave in Los Angeles. Anyone have any experience with this? Suggestions?

my barber has shaved me a few times and i enjoy it.. he used a shavette and lather is from a latherking.. he does do the whole hot towel thing and gives you a rubdown with a vibrating mit at the end.. shaves have always been bbs and fully enjoyed..

the place is berkeley barbers.. on santa monica blvd and i think yale.. it's borderline west los angeles/santa monica.. the cost may have gone up since i last had it done over a year ago.. but it was $17 then.. i highly recommend it.

they have a small selection.. i've recently started shaving more with my de and have been going there to try different blades.. the guy is knowledgeable and has a neat little shop..

i had originally gone there about 7 years ago when i was first interested in shaving with a straight razor.. being only 22.. i looked at a $120 price tag on a straight razor and decided i was ok with my mach3 and walked back out.. i had forgot all about the place until just a few months ago. it's a nice little shop.. check it out.
