A strop is a tool you can't do without. The SRD 3" Latigo would be one that would give you years of service. It's not cheap but if the price doesn't scare you, the strop will not disapoint. I'm just starting to hone and only having modest results so I'll leave a hone recomendation to a more experienced member.
