Thread: Would like a proper str8.

Gentlemen,
I've been wetshaving for about a year. I have a decent badger brush, a nice bowl and a collection of DE's that I aquired over the year.

I wasn't really considering str8's until I began reading on several forums the experiences had with a str8. So far, I've not read anything about people accidently slicing their jugular with them, so I figure I'd like to give it a shot.

I used to hate shaving until one day on Digg.com, someone posted a link to Corey's article on wetshaving. If I remember correctly, that was mainly about DE wetshaving. Checking out the various sites mentioned, I became slightly interested.

I had a Knack DE in good condition that was handed down to me by my dad. He's been using electric razors for years since. I had only been using the Mach system razors (razor bumps galore). I purchased some platinum DE blades at the local Target and used Edge gel the first time and I noticed a difference right off the bat.

I was intrigued!

I hounded a local barber supplier for an entire week to get a hold of a badger brush and got a hold of some nice shave soap as well. I've never looked back since!

So, back to str8's. I remember reading on here somewhere, someone offering a properly honed and stropped razor. I've got a Paypal account ready to go if the offer is still available!
