    Default Cold water shave #3

I just finished #3 attempt in the cold water shave
    experiment:

    Washed face with cold water
Applied lather, and rubbed it in for a minute
    Re-lather
    Full WTG
    Re-lather
    Full XTG
    Re-lather
    Full ATG
    Rinse
    Touch-up with cold water only.

    Result:
    No nicks, no post-shave irritation.
My chief "shave inspector" (13 year-old daughter)
    gave it an "A" rating.

There was only one problem: I've run out of decent
aftershave, so I had to use whatever I could find in
    the local Chinese shop.

It must be 99% alcohol, because it really did sting....
and I now smell like a pimp.

I hope that a CARE package from the States arrives
    soon!

I have to admit I was sceptical about using cold water for shaving when i first read the a thread about it, but I have to admit that it is as you say no irratation and the cuts are fewer. So much easier to stretch the skin tight. I think the cold water tightens the skin for you.
