Thread: First Shave

Hello all, i have been reading the forums for months, but this is my first post.
I just wanted to post saying that i just had my first straight razor shave. Feel that i did fairly well. It is about as good as using the throw away razors, which i have read is to be expected. The main joy of it, is that i only have two small cuts on my upper lip. I was afraid that i would do much much worse.

Congrats and welcome to SRP! It just gets better from here. For me, the first shave was the scarriest, and after a half dozen shaves things really picked up.

Congratulations mate. The more you shave the better you get.

I have to say, the second shave was much much more comfortable. Was nowhere near as afraid, and in much more control. No cuts, just 2 small little nicks.
