    Default Growth experts ?

Maybe my imagination, but don't think so. Before I started shaving with a straight,I was shaving every 2 days passing the disposable over as required as I have a light growth. Now finding the need to shave daily as I seem to suddenly developed a heavier growth. As much as I enjoy the straight experience..is this normal. Or am I enjoying tooooo much ?

I asked the exact same question when I first started shaving...and I got the exact same answers....I still think sometimes that it really is growing in thicker and faster....but then again, I have become a chronic fasterbator so I might just touch my face more often now than I did before

After I started shaving with a straight, I noticed that my beard felt rougher to the touch, which I attibuted to faster growth, but I think it's just that the straight cuts the hair at a more acute angle than with an electric.

I look forward to every morning now. I get up 20 mins earlier, shower then get ready for a luxurious shave. I have a few straights now and it's fun even deciding which one to use.
My daughter who is 14 and trend crazy saw me shaving on the weekend. She thinks it's super cool and has told all of her school mates. I'm going to blunt (really blunt) and old razor and get my son practicing,, he's only 12 but he wants to try it out, should be fun watching him scrape the cream off.
I find all day I'm checking my face, feeling for stubble etc..before using straights I never bothered. What a great thing this shaving lark is.

Hey Trinity. It's NOT growing in faster or thicker, NO it's NOT!!!
It's likely a technique issue. Work on your prep and strtching and you'll soon be getting better, closer shaves than before.

If this actually worked to make your hair grow more, you could sell it to bald men.

Seriously, either your shave is not quite as close as before, or else you've raised your standards because you know what a good shave feels like. You can't change the growth of your hair, except by waiting for the aging process to occur and give you changes you didn't really want anyway.

I definitely have to shave more often now. But I don't think it's the str8 that's the cause, I think it's more likely the fact that gravity has taken it's toll and the hair that used to grow out of the top of my head has been pulled down. Instead of coming out my scalp it has started coming out my eyebrows, ears, nose and cheeks. In fact, I'm afraid to look too closely at my moustache for fear that it might just be a wild growth of nose hairs that I've lovingly groomed and shaped...

Also my toes... damn my toes are getting hairy as I get older. I think eventually I won't need to shave my face at all and gravity will have given me a nice warm set of boots year round!
