    I strop my rotation on sunday and let them sit until the morn of the shave...But stropping is important...maybe your leather is not cutting it? Try topping on some rolled up newspaper (thats' old school)

    Seriously, I read an old Barber's manual that says once you've been straight shaving for a while, you develop a link to what is known as 'the force.' The force unites all skills of all the barbers and shavers of all time and allows you get the best shave possible. But it has to be done in the dark.

    Stropping ALWAYS improves an edge, as long as the razor is honed and the strop is a decent strop, and the stropper knows how to use his strop.

    What your basically saying is that walking is quicker than driving, if you do not know how to turn the ignition.
