Default 2nd shave was much closer...............

and hacked my face this time. Not terribly, but more then the 1st time. Must remind myself to take my time and not rush when placing blade to face. I WILL get the hang of this and I was much happier with the end results of whisker elimination. I know I am a lifer at this point and can do better, I just have to sllooooowww down as I tend to always be in a rush, but know I'm gonna get the hang of it eventually. Had my doubts after the 1st shave, but am certain now.

Hacked as in cuts or irritation? Your skin might take a little while to adjust to straights so for your first few shaves you might want to wait a day longer than normal.

Of course, I completely ignored that philosophy when I started. I was too eager to wait!

More of cuts from face initial contact when getting in a hurry (just my nature) no real skin irritation at all. I just need to take my time and be more focused until it becomes 2nd nature. I'm not doing it everyday yet either. Tippy toeing my way in. Thanks, Dave

I never use a str8 when I am in a rush or tired. Just things I tend to avoid. I am about 10 months in and the shave results keep getting better. Enjoy!!
