hobbit considering shaving his legs..
as much as i love shaving and the constant compliments i get on my legs.. i'm considering shaving them..
issues being i'm stupidly hairy.. i do not mean to sound too graphic or repulsing.. but i've got very thick leg hair which also travels above my waist and covers both my feet and my toes.. i'm basically a sasquash..
advice anyone.. can i successfully shave my legs and still have to shave my bum and belly stripe? or do i try to blend?
i dunno.. i feel like an idiot asking this.. be gentle with the replies ladies.

I think you would be better embracing your masculinity! I'm not so follically blessed, but it's just a matter of time till my smooth look is out, & furry men are back in style!

If it were me, I'd get an electrical groomer and go for the cut-back/thinning approach, and stay away from actual shaving. Fast and safe, and you wouldn't have to worry about cuts, ingrown hair, dry skin or what have you.

Obviously what you do it totally up to you you can go ahead and shave your legs and feet and leave the bum and belly hair be, or use an electronic trimmer to groom those couple of areas, or just use an electronic trimmer to keep everything pared down a bit. If your feet bother you. then go ahead and shave those. I can see where having hairy toes could be a turn off.

Im instantly regretting reading this thread, but I feel an overwhelming urge to put my two cents in. I think you should leave everything and ONLY shave your bum!

This is only my opinion but hair on a man is sexy. If you feel the need trim but shaving your legs smooth would totally turn me off and I assume there are other women that feel the same. Men are supposed to have hair on some parts of there body.

If it really is bothering you have a word with your GP. They might be able to suggest a hair thinning/removal lotion (veet or something) or even direct you to someone who does laser hair removal or something.
Of course if you decide to leave it thats fine too..!

Thanked: 1I don't know if this counts but...
I am like a hairless wonder, I grow hair on my head and my shins and arms and of course other places but that's it, no back hair, no chest hair and no real leg hair, just very fine and light blond hairs on everything but my shins. On my face I get hair on my chin and lip. Not all of it is the same color, I have calico hair, some black, some brown and some so blond that its more clear than tawny, even though its thick!! I think it may be from being born a platinum blond and going to a med brown shortly there after. Who knows. I have also been asked if I shaved my legs, ugh, embarrassing!
