    Default Stretching!

    Hey guys,

Do you guys always stretch up (north) or do you sometimes also stretch downward? For some reason I had always assumed that I was supposed to stretch up on my cheeks and then south for the neck area..For some reason I decided to stretch up all the way last night and wow! What a big difference on my jaw line and neck! Much much better results!

I stretch up, down, left, right, & many combinations in between. Feel how your whiskers grow then stretch the skin and see which direction makes them stand up. This will tell you which way you need to stretch and then you can also determine which angle you will need to come at it for WTG, XTG, ATG, etc.

    Enjoy!

+1 This is pretty much how I do. I primarily stretch so that I can get good ATG passes.

I would say it probably depends a great deal on what direction your hair grows. Most the time (correct me if I'm wrong here) i believe it is most beneficial the stretch in the opposite direction your hair grows. This lifts the hair up to a degree and makes it easier for the razor to slice it off.

Myself I mostly stretch up on my face and around around my jaw line. Then I stretch down on my neck. My hair starts going in all sorts of crazy directions down there and I find it causes less irritation if I do it that way.
