My wife works in a doll shop, and the CBS 11 reporter did a piece on their shop. (It is probably the only Dallas area doll shop that repairs dolls.) She told the reporter he should contact me about straight razor shaving. Voila! I am on TV, famous, signing autographs, running women away from my door.

That was pretty great. It was good to put a face to whippeddog.com, even if it was covered it lather.

That was pretty cool, Congrats. The newscasters could have done without the cutting themselves comments thought.

The announcers were slick and glib. But, I was cooler. I shave with straight razors!
(Well, actually, I shave with just one straight razor. My trusted 6/8 square tip W.S. Brown Special, whatever that is!)

Woot! Great piece of work there! Glad you're getting the work out there...

Congrats on a nice piece, Larry. It always amazes me when I see someone else str8 shaving on a video. They always look like they are barely scraping a thin lather on their beard. When I lather up, I look like Santa Claus by comparison.

I am turning into a minimalist. I have a rotation of one straight razor, using a 6/8 W.S. Brown every time. I have a rotation of one shave soap, Mitchell's Wool Fat.
Similarly, I used to whip up lather like crazy, trying to get it to look like regular shaving cream. Any more, if it is wet and soapy and sticks, good enough!

That was great Larry! Too bad they had to make those lame comments about being scared to cut themselves at the end. That is the kind of thing they should have said while they were filming you so you could address those concerns.
Oh well. Good for you just the same. BTW, I'm hooked on MWF. You send me a sample back when I first started, and I went and bought 3 pucks of the stuff. Good god this stuff lasts forever!
