Default I'm happy and I'm sad all at the same time...

Just opened a package from Martin at Rasurpur this afternoon. It contained two new razors - a very nice 6/8 Solingen with bone scales and a freaken' awesome 6/8 Kamisori Japanese razor. That's the happy part.

The sad part? I had a great shave this morning and really took my time with it and am not quite ready for another shave yet.

I think I'll get up a bit earlier tomorrow to enjoy it and take it slow. Which one? The Kamisori, of course.

    Cool

The Paradox of Straight Razor shaving. You enjoy shaving more, but need to shave less.

Yes, it is a shame our hair only grows so fast, but the shave provides great appreciation to the maker of the razor and satisfaction knowing you were wielding the tool that produced the results.

Have fun and enjoy your shaves!
