    Default post shave nicks?

    hi guys,

so i've been having this trouble for some time, and wondered if any of you had suggestions:

after shaving the front, flat part of my chin and my philtrum, i often get small bleeders AFTER i've washed my face, applied lotion etc. for example, if i shave at night, i'll wake up with little bits of dried blood on my face (pencil-point sizes).

i'm fortunately past the age of acne, and as far as i can tell i don't cut myself in these locations. i've tried stypping these areas pre-emptively, and using more lotion in the hopes that it's just dry skin. so far, no luck, which makes me think it may be a shaving technique problem.

FWIW, i go WTG, relather, and then XTG on both areas.

also, and off topic, but can someone explain what 'SAD' means? thanks in advance!

My first suggestion would be to just go WTG and see if the problem continues.

Sad means unhappy or sorrowful. Like, "I'm sad that these nicks keep happening." But really it probably means strop acquisition disorder. We have many acquisition disorders (ADs) here on SRP -- RAD = razor, HAD = hone, etc.

EDIT: Just in case, here's an article with our abbreviations, although SAD isn't actually on it (yet): Acronyms & abbreviations
