Thanked: 40very cool SOTD, thanks for posting.
that nomad soap is one of the one's in my rotation, I really like it its easy to work a good lather with.
and armed with the shave soap your just a little glycerin away from your first UberLather ^_^

Great SOTD , but there is an SOTD section here. I suggest moving your post there to get more exposure. Hope to see you there.

Thanked: 40I learned from Jockeys youtube vid, seems to work with any hard and cream soap.
YouTube - Jockeys makes some Uber-Lather!
Good luck and let us know how it goes ^_^
btw, personal preference but I put a dollop of shave cream about the size of an almond and I mix the glycerin, soap and cream togeather for a bit before adding a little water at a time.
And just in case you were wondering, you don't need a scuttle or like to keep the lather warm. warm lather or no shouldn't affect the shave.
an last but not least you may need to play with the amount of glycerin if you have sensitive skin ^_^

moonbeam,
Nice start...I really like your shaving kit--especially the various shaving creams/soaps and aftershaves.
As Robert suggests, move your SOTD to the SOTD forum where it will get more exposure.
