    Default Cut inte the edge of my knife

    I did my second straightrazor shave today, and i accidently bumped my razor into the water tap. I got a little cut in the edge of the blade, it is so small that you barely can see it, about 0,2 mm deep or something. Do you guys think i can continue shave with it or should i get it re-honed before.

    I wouldn't recommend shaving with it until its's fixed/rehoned. It might take it's anger out on your face

    +1. Best not to use it. Probably wise to keep it away from the strop as well because it will likely leave some scratches on it.

    Post a picture if you can.

    Looks like no big deal -unless- there is a crack in there too...

    Do you know how to test that ????

    Straightrazor;

    You need to try and avoid running the blade under the fawcet while shaving. It;s better to wipe the blade on a wash cloth or sponge on the side of the sink. This simple task can save you some money and time in the future.
