    Default First Duck shave

With my new found confidence in my ability to take a razor that isn’t sharp enough to shave and actually get it to the point that I could shave with it (although it was a new razor). I decided to put the Watco aside and try my skills on a Dubl Duck Dwarf, after two days of cleaning it and sharpening it. I had some extra time today before I went to work so figured a perfect day to try it out. Wow what a shave smooth no irritation and only one small nick. If the Goldenedge shaves better than the Dwarf may have to work on it next.

No it doesn't... Send it to me for proper disposal Ever since I took my Satinedge to the coticule, I'm in love with the ducks. Too bad they command such a high price. If I were you, I'd either take the Wonderedge to the hone even if a sacrifice of sleeping time is necessary! Actually my Satinedge made me re-think my new razor purchase. Until now, I was thinking of getting a TI, but I may just get a Dovo instead.

I've got a bunch of razors and a gaggle of ducks and I'll tell you they give the most consistantly great shaves of any brand I've used and they hone easily too.

I feel the same way about Wester Bros. and Henckels.

I would have to say that the Goldedge does shave better, but for the price and the quality of the shave the dwarf is a lot of razor for the price. If one searches for razors that look like dubl ducks there is a good chance they might shave well to. I would use Genco as a good example for having a similar geometry.

I've got em all and I'll tell you my wonderedge doesn't shave any better than an old lifetime Bresnick I have. The main difference is that the wonderedge keeps its edge much longer. I find absolutely no difference between the Goldedge and satinedge or special #1.
