Thread: First Shave

Well hello all, I'm brand new here and just did my first shave with a SR. Ironically the thing than made me bleed the worst was that the trimmer I was using caught my throat when I was trimming off my two week growth pre-shave. I got a few nicks but honestly it was much, much easier than I had anticipated. I went wtg and atg both but didn't do the most amazing job. But in time I hope to never mess with cartridge razors again.

I keep reading about newbies going ATG on the first shave. All I can say is more power to ya. I was literally shaking like a rat on crack on my first str8 shave, and that was just WTG! Welcome to SRP. All the best.
