It's something I would never even remotely think of attempting.

I am now even more glad that I do not have a hairy back. I weep for my friend and his perpetual sweater.

Angles get tricky. And my back isn't even as thick/coarse as the hair on the back of my hand.
But with a combination of straight and DE (each as their strength in getting certian areas) I've been fighting the back rug for a couple years now. It's just like the face, it takes some learning.
Do it before a shower so you can wash all that stuff off. You don't want that stuff rubbing between you and your shirt all day.
There, I'm out of the closet now.

Ha ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one that has tried it.. The only reason the thought ever crossed my mind is because I was cursed with a thick fur on my back and straights won't plug up.. I have had my wife shave me with the straight but she wasn't around. Some day I'll have to spring for lazer removal..
I did cut myself several times, I think I will pass on trying it again by myself.

LOL Sounds like a challenging and fun experiment.
Although I ove shaving, I would suggest that you gents either get wxed or laser treated on your backs.
That way the hair is soft when it grows back out, there wont be any stubble to rub against your clothes, or against your woman/man/loved one at night.
The wax lasts for a couple of months, I havent tried the laser yet, its too expensive, but I hear it give good results.
