Default How do you know when...

You've been shaving with old Sheffields or rounded smiling blades for a LONG time?? You remember why you have to pay attention to spikes... Bumbed the tip into my ear catching a fer hairs that drive me nuts and remembered a beat to late that I was using one of my agressive spikes Nice hole in my ear

None of the pics are comming out though... Have to wait till my kid gets home to get a real pic up lol

It's not all that bad barely a quarter inch long and stopped running soon after I nailed myself

WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING PENCILS!!!

When the young'un gets home just take the spike, open it up again so we can see the photo.

Maybe it's time for a poll on round vs. spike points?

All I can say is OUCH ! That is a good one ... or a bad one depending on how you look at it.

O-U-C-H in the main stream!! Not to worry about the once and a while bleeder. I myself got 2 of what I call smiles, not much bleeding but still a big nick. I thing I get them from not lifting up the Str8 soon enough after a stroke. And of course middle age acne gives some bleeders sometimes. But that goes with age and wet shaving. Hang in there, blood is from the heart, don't worry to much.

Have a great day and BBS to boot, tinkersd

I hear these people talking about not blaming the razor, but rather the user. Have any of you seen the new Viking from Bob Allman? There is one situation where even with respect you will get nicked.

I actually get nicked more with round points than squares. With square points I have a reference, but rounds they hide under the lather and remove small peices of ear. When I started this hobby my earlobes were attached.
