Thanked: 1Shave 8 with first vintage
I could not help my self from buying a couple of vintage razors. I picked up an Engles with clear red handles and a lafayette with mangled soon to be replaced scales but the blade is beautiful on that one. I honed the Engles my self and gave it a shave test. It went very well it shaved as good as my Dovo shave ready. I made some inprovements with the wool fat soap buy soaking it with some water in the mug then I added a little shave cream with gycerine. Great lather and only some razor burn in a few spots I over did with poor angle and pressure. I thank everyone for the tips I used for this shave and look foward to the next one. Take care Chris M

Check out anyone in the member services area. Holli4pirating is up in NY if you're looking for someone nearby, but all are perfectly capable.
Congrats on getting some nice vintages, btw!
