    Default treating my artist club like an japanese style razor..

    i'm considering trying a shave with my artist club in the style of a japanese style straight shave.. being that i will only use one side of the blade and only my dominant hand.. i'll be trying it tomorrow.. i plan on pretty much duplicating jimr's technique.. such as in this video.. do you think i'll encounter any difficulties? seeing as how my blade is not single sided?

    With a Japanese blade that's how you do it. With your blade it's not. Yes you can no different than taking a western razor and only using one side of it. Why would you want to make your life more complicated unless you want the bragging rights for using the technique? Just my view.
