    Default last bastion of whiskers

I've gotten to the point i can get everywhere BBS except for the crease in my neck between my neck muscles and trachea.

how do you all handle that area? I think i may need to take up yoga or get a skin stretcher or something.

Super sharp smiling blades and a few different angles are best for me. The smiling edge lets me get into corners that flat blade gets hung up on.

The only way I've found to get into that part of my neck is by stretching the skin so that it's not in that depression when I shave it. By turning my chin up and away, then stretching the skin in the opposite direction...viola, no problems.

The only luck I've had so far (and bear in mind I'm very much a newbie) is by using either the tip or the heel and stretching the skin until it's shifted over a bit. I still can't get it as well as I'd like to though, and it's a major hassle.

I solved this problem by getting fat.

Just goes to show that there's always at least a couple of solutions to any problem. LOL

on the left side of my neck, the whiskers pretty much grow straight down, and I have no problem getting that absolutely smooth. However, on the right side of my neck, my whiskers grow sideways (toward my ear right ear). Here, I have a similar problem as the original poster... that spot just to right of my trachea. There are always 4 or 5 whiskers that for some reason don't get shaved as well (I am stretching the skin... though perhaps I could stretch it a bit more, I'll give that a try). That part of my neck feels smooth when feeling south/north, or north/south, but a little rough when going east/west. I can live with 4 or 5 whiskers not being cut as close as they could. Sometimes I'm able to get those little buggers, though!

I get a whole batch of the buggers in a triangle from the left side of my adams apple, impossible to shave from any angle.

Trapper, You just have to gain some weight and get a fat neck....fills right out so there are no creases!
