Thread: shave on a different razor

Greetings,

I just finished a shave, I'm less than 10 shaves in. I've definitely have noticed improvements in my technique and confidence. I get an acceptable shave on my sides and have noticed that my right side is usually a little better. I'm left handed and by using my non-dominate right hand I suspect a get less of a push / pull on the razor.
My Dovo was purchased from SRD and I'm confident in it's honing, although I think I may have messed up the edge a bit via stropping before my first shave.
I'm still getting a lot of scrapping and discomfort in my neck. Today after two WTG passes it didn't look like any hair was removed from my neck. I'm being very patient and I think there are multiple areas to improve in. However, I want to eliminate the razor as one area. Is there any member willing to send me a completely shave ready razor, nothing too high styling - just shave ready. I'd like to compare my shave with a second razor.
I won't strop it and would like to do one or two shaves with it, then return it. I'll gladly pay for shipping both ways and whatever else you would like for your time and rental of the razor.
Hopefully I can use this to make sure I don't have a hardware problem (sorry, I'm an IT guy).
I'm giving this at least 6 months to get comfortable with and I do notice results, mostly due to the great information on this site. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a good excuse to get another shave-ready blade - let the RAD start early.....
