Thread: 3 Months and best shave yet!

All right guys, please don't take this as bragging, but I just got a BBS on my lip and chin! I was starting to wonder if it would ever happen. Now, along with the 2 quarter inch square spots under each sideburn in another few months I might actually have a total decent shave. LOL. Anyway, thanks for listening, I just had to tell somebody--SWMBO just doesn't get it.

LOL - well, that's what we're here for mate! And I know exactly what you mean; some days the wife seems proud that I have a hobby, other days she fully admits that she "doesn't get it" either.... go figure.

Thanks guys. It was like the razor took over and did it's job today all by itself. It was just absolutely amazing. I'm still excited just thinking about it. It was fun and exhilarating and a real confidence builder.

you didn't say what razor you were using!

Real basic razor--I only have two and they're both 5/8 Dovo Best Quality, honed by Lynn when I bought them from Vintage Blades, LLC. back in December. They still seem to be very sharp with just daily stropping.

Glad to hear you had such a good shave! It's hard to resist running your hands on your face after a shave like that!
