    Default Restored W&B Near Wedge

Well tonight was a GREAT NIGHT! My son shaved with his Great Great Grandfathers Wade and Butcher Near Wedge! He was thrilled! Then I shaved with it! The very heavy blade was a very different shave. There wasn't any kind of 'chatter'. That heavy blade was ROCK STEADY! NOW! A little history! If you go to the Forums and scroll down to Custom Builds and Restorations and go there, look for (Heirloom W&B Restore in Feathered Horn). There you will see the before, during and after pictures of my Great Grandfathers W&B! I'd put in the link to it, but I don't know how!

Glen, (GSSIXGUN) did a fantastic job! Not only on the restoration of my razor, but the finished edge! It was so smooth when I shaved with it! As I said, there wasn't any kind of 'chatter' that I usually experience with the hollow ground razors. The chatter is usually on my chin! Anyway it was the most wonderful shave of my life! When I asked my son Connor what he thought about the shave, he said; "It felt really different, and I think that part of it was knowing whose razor it was!"

    Smooth Shaving to All!

What a great story. I's give my entire collection of razors (meager as it is) for one handed down by my great grandfather.
