Shaving with a frowning edge
I have used straights with considerable smiles and find them quite agreeable. I can live with a perfectly straight edge as well. I don't have nor have I ever shaved with a frowning blade. I wonder whether these must be straightened first or can one just be careful shaving with them and with proper accommodation get good shaves.

A blade that has a frown is one which has been honed predominantly along the center of the blade and not along the entire edge. It has been honed improperly. If the frown is minimal it can be honed out, I have done it plenty of times. I wouldnt want to shave with one, it seems to me it would be an accident waiting to happen, while using the center of the blade either the toe or heel would be slicing flesh rather than whiskers.

Not necessarily. I would consider this to have two spike points:
three if you consider that I have poked my nose on the spine.
just for giggles I tried shaving with a frowning razor. It sucked. I nicked the heck out of my face and Kelly is right it was all but impossible to keep both the toe and heel from digging in.
I would not suggest anyone to abuse their face like I have. Trust the old ways, they worked.

Many of your Kamisoris have double spikes.
