+1 Bigspender's observation and very wise recommendation.

Let me muddy the waters by throwing this candidate into the mix. Thiers Issard 7/8" Singing Straight Razor, Black Horn. I would love for somebody to review this razor.

TI hands down. (Not based on anything substantial, just opinion.)

I own the henckel razor and it is one of the smoothest razors I own, of coarse the only way to tell the difference is to get them both. Let us know which is better.

I like the Friodur.
