i find the artist club blades to be much sharper than the feather double edged blades.. i do not cork the DEs.. though the artist club blades get run twice along a cork before first use..

I love my Feather artist club as well. Low angles and a very light touch is the trick.
Nothing else cuts quite as easily ATG on the back of my head
It's impressive how little resistance the hair gives this über sharp shaving object!Bjoernar

Thank you for some of the feedback in this thread. I have orderd myself a Feather Artist Club DX this morning and although I am very much looking forward to trying it out, I wasn't sure what to expect. now I do, more or less, especially thanks to Pops' comment "Imagine shaving with a light sabre" ...

This is a great razor. I have the exact one with the wooden scales. Isn't it a beauty? I have been shaving with it for 2 weeks. I am very careful with it for the feather blades are sharp. But I must say, great shave, great experience, great razor.
