Default ...Best Shave EVER...With my new W&B

Ok, here goes. I've been straight shaving for about 3-4 months now, started with a Butcher Brothers 4/8, acquired a Fromm Redhead, then I lucked up and got a SRP Limited Edition TI Razor. All shaved good, and as my technique improved the shaves got better but i was always left with something more. I prep good and use a quality cream, but always had some major irritation and razor burn on my neck. So recently I got lucky on Ebay and picked up a restored 7/8 Wade and Butcher Wedge and sent it to Glen(gssixgun) for honing and got it back yesterday, and this thing is OMG sharp. Didn't get to shave yesterday but today I got out of the bath, few splashes of hot water and started whipping up lather(Tabac cream) Got it to my preffered consistency and lathered up. I've got to say, it was the most comfortable and smooth shave I've ever had. Absolutely ZERO irritation and I found the 7/8's blade very easy to work with, and the edge was smoothe as a baby's but, just cut right through 4 days of growth. I think I've found my true love. Just wanted to share the experience lol Thanks for reading.

Yeah, shaving with a truly sharp blade is a real eye opener. Now you've got a standard to meet with your other razors...

(oh yeah, congrats on the great shave too!)

    Thumbs up Congratulations!

Nothing like a sharp razor for a good shave. I also have a razor from Glen and it is excellent. He really does a good job of honing.

I have a 5/8 W&B "The Celebrated" and it is among my very best razors. I am glad yours is working out so well.
