I think this is a great idea. I don't know many young girls who would have any interest in straight shaving a man's face. Or straight shaving at all for that matter. That's really cool.

And all I can think is, she's going to have to have some pretty self-assured boyfriends in the years ahead. She does something they probably won't be able to do!

I had a variant thought along those lines. That is, she's going to have some pretty lucky boyfriends who will get to benefit from her shaving skills.

So I saw Bug again today at the shop. She is awed by all the comments you have made. When I mentioned that some of you thought I should offer her an SRP membership, I did , and she accepted. So in the near future we will have a new female junior member.

Awesome! I think pics of her should be posted in the newbie section for inspiration.

She is probably self assured and doesn't understand what the big deal is because she has been around shaving all her life. She probably picked up more by watching over the years than she realizes. To her shaving is old hat. We newbies have to really think about what we're doing because this is completely new to us.

Now, I'm too old and cynical to be really easily impressed but by God, color me impressed. I've got a 20 year old son that recoils in horror at the very idea of shaving with a straight. Bug, you go girl! Way to get after it! You've just given me some ammunition to shame my son into putting on the big boy pants.
