Default HELP! RAD is taking over!

I just bought this after reading about so many favorable experiences with Genco razors:

Vintage Genco Straight Razor shave ready HHT USA

    Hopefully it's a good purchase!

Genco razors are good stuff, Congrats.
Let's hope it's in really good shape!
As to RAD taking over, just embrace it and enjoy it. Resistance is futile

I only hope the seller didn't misrepresent it, because I have heard so many good things about Genco's. It would be nice to know which exact model this is so I can gauge how old it may be.

The less you resist the RAD, the quicker the struggle is over. You know that even if you fight it, the end result is the same: a garage full of tools, a workbench covered in hones, a cabinte (and several boxes, trunks) full of razors... the incessant whining of SWMBO nattering on about the latest package from your wetshaving supplier of choice, 1000+ positive eBay buyer feedback...

    Re: the Genco:
Looks like the edge is in great shape, and it'll be a fine shaver... although the clueless blathering of the seller leaves me to question its shave-readiness. Still, honing is easy to do or come by, and aside from that it looks like a solid razor. Enjoy-- GenCo made some great razors!
