Sorry TC if I have insulted you or anyone else. Not what I meant to do!
As I said, It's just my personal opinion and I own it. You can say whatever you like about the Marines, San Antonio or anything you like, I won't take it personally and get emotional about it. It is just an opinion and applies to what that person believes. All of us are different and have different beliefs. It is what it is.

My oldest daughter is a cosmotalogist and she gave me one of thes. They work well on the nose and ear hairs. Be sure to be 'Booger' free when you use it in your nose.
As with most of today's gadgets their life span varies. The one she gave me made it a couple of years and I've got about a year on the replacement. However I have a spare in the cupboard.
One word on maintence is to use silicon spray on the cutters.

I find it rather curious when someone tells another how to act or live or be. Especially when not invited to give an opinion. Tell me what YOU should do. What works for you. If I'm impressed by your reasons I might be persuaded to follow.
Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.

TC,,, if you ever take up honing your own razors, I promise to make you a custom leather hone pouch that will attach to those saddle bags.

So like if I can't repair my own car I shouldn't drive it or own one?
That's way out in the far outfield...even years ago, many would bring their razors to the barber to hone them, it was easy and convenient, and was frequently done by the barber for many of his customers...so you're saying they shouldn't have owned razors either?....

You guys are taking this way to personal. We are talking about honing straight razors right? I don't find that really high on what I take personal especially when it wan't directed at any one person in particular. It's trivial at this point.
