How do you hold your straight?
I see from the general beginners posts that how guys hold the razor when they shave their faces is very important and can mean the difference between a smooth shave and a bunch of nicks or a rash. Shaving a leg is very different from shaving a face though. Is there a special way for women that works better when shaving our legs?

Let's see if I can describe how I hold one. First for legs I use a much lower angle more like a 5 to 10 degree rather than the 30 that seems about optimal for face shaving. So hold it on the tang close to the blade between my thumb on top, finger on the bottom. That should get you a good start. You have to adjust your finger placement as you do different areas. You can basically hold it any way you feel comfortable controlling the blade at.
