no author on it (someone from here possibley?)
well, enjoy
Once there was a man who tried to get a clean shave
he thought it would be nifty to use a straight blade.
“I will surely have a baby smooth face,” he said.
That night, for many hours his face bled.
He was the talk of the town, but he would not quit.
He wanted his bsf (baby smooth face), so he bought a shaving kit.
At first his blade was very dull, not shave ready.
With shaky hands, his stropping was unsteady.
He would lather up his face much too dry.
Rinsing off, the soap suds burned his eyes.
His stubble was now beard, still never cut.
Looking at it made him sick in the gut.
Yet only by straight blade, that was his goal.
Sweeney Todd's trade had enticed his soul.
He grabbed the badger brush, lathered again.
His blade sharp enough to cut a lions mane.
A first pass
a second
the third did the trick.
His face turned into a smile real quick.
The obstacles that he overcame that very day.
Are why men should have a luxurious shave.

Shaving poems seem to me to be a waste of time.
It's awful hard to making shaving stuff rhyme.
You can try to write them, a respectable deed,
but what can you use to rhyme a word with "bleed"?
BBS, DFS, CCS, what does it really matter,
as long as your sink isn't covered with blood splatter?
Wade & Butcher, Boker, and Elliott, they all do the trick.
They'll all cut your whiskers if sharp and give you a nick.
Once you're hooked on straights you can never really stop.
When you're not buying or honing them, it's time to go strop.
You know it's too late for you and you'll know when you've been had,
when you're laying on a couch with a shrink discussing your RAD.
