Has this razor been shortened?
This razor

looks like its been shortened? Measuring the pic shows the blade much shorter than the scales.

I agree but has he laid it out that way to try and disguise the fact.
It isn’t the best way to use you meager 400 X 400 Picture size.

Stock factory scales generally come in a 'one size fits all' dimension. Even the Dubl Duck Dwarfs have the same length scales as the Specials. The rounding of the steel at the spine side of the tip leads me to believe that the razor is of its original length.

It is important that you use all the information during a potential purchase. There are many threads that quote beware of poor pictures and short descriptions.
I have flipped the blade in PSP and it still looks short to me. I have had a few shortened blades and if there is engraving on you can tell because it isn’t central to the blade, if there is no engraving it is harder to tell but I suspect unless you intended to deceive the profile at the end wouldn’t be the same as the original. The profile on this blade just doesn’t look right [IMG]
