Thanked: 3Cut myself pretty bad...
So I was shaving my head with my shavette a couple of days ago. I was going faster than I should have been and wasn't paying enough attention.
I hate that feeling when the razor digs into your skin, and you know you have cut yourself. This one went in deep. The blood wasn't gushing out, but it was moving out pretty fast. I had to put a band aid on it to stop the bleeding.
Fortunately, I cut myself on the back of my head, so it's not too noticeable.
I learned my listen, be absolutely focused and take your time when shaving.

Sorry for your mishap. I hope it heals quickly.
"You are a braver man than I am, Gunga Din." You must be really good to shave your head with a shavette. I can't imagine the skill that must take. Good for you.
Happy Shaving!

Back of the head is the tricky spot and those cuts bleeds like crazy. Just tend to the wound to eliminate/minimize scarring and try to avoid shaving that area for a few days if possible.

Thanked: 3Bill S/DLB - Like with anything else, it just takes practice. If you remember when you first started shaving your face with a straight razor it was awkward, but the more you did it the more comfortable you became at it. Same thing with shaving your head.Hirlau
